A fuel tanker overturned following an accident along the Makutano-Ngurubani road in Kirinyaga County. In a sad video shared by Citizen Digital, tens of residents dashed to siphon fire from the ill-fated tanker.It was evident they were either oblivious to the dangers they were putting their lives into, or they ignored the risks. Some expressed disappointment that they arrived late at the accident scene and missed the fuel. "Those who were here first were lucky to siphon it. I came late so didn't find any," an eyewitness said. @Dr_F_Francis "Shouldn't the police do their job as a part of protecting properties? If there are no ethics or even safety awareness, then at least start it with law enforcement!" SafeWayRightWayKE: "We never learn the lesson #Sachagwan tragedy taught us.
