Kenyan Woman Expresses Anger After Son Gets His Hair Braided: "Umeanza Kuvuta Bangi?"

 

A Kenyan woman was captured quarreling with her son after he got his hair breaded. Woman upset after son gets his hair braided.  The woman couldn't believe that her son could be influenced to get his hair plaited like a lady. In a TikTok video shared by Kemunto actress, who claimed the two were her brother and mother, the woman was asking the young man why he had got his hair plaited.  "Mbona umesonga nywele? mbona ukaamua kusonga nywele?" she asked while touching his braided hair. The angry woman asked her son if he was admiring being a woman. "What attracted you to get your hair braided? Did you see those young men who smoke bhang and have got braided hair and admired being like them? Or are you also smoking bhang like them?" the angry woman asked. At some point, she grabbed her son's hair and pulled them, forcing him to plead with her mum to stop pulling them. "Unataka kupigana na mimi (Do you want to fight me) What is this that you have made on your hair? Do you want to be a woman? She then told her son that she is going to shave her hair and let him have his plaited. "If you decide this is the hairstyle you want, let me go and shave my hair so that you can be happy," she added.
