Jowie's Mother Sympathises with Monica Kimani's Family Following Her Murder: "Nawahurumia"

An interview of Jowie Irungu's mum holding onto hope that her son won't be convicted of murder in 2018 has surfaced. Jowie was convicted of murder. How Jowie's mum sympathised with Monica's parents In an interview with NTV in 2018, Jowie's mum talked of the businesswoman's murder. Back when the interview was done, Jowie was charged with murder and was awaiting conviction.According to evidence, he visited Monica's house on the fateful night of September 19, 2018. His mum said that he felt pity for the family of the businesswoman's family. "I feel pity for them as a parent. I feel the pain of someone losing their child but the thing that suprisea me the most is whether it’s true my son did it. I would like for God to open it up so that I can know the truth and I can heal because I have a problem.” According to Jowie's dad, the now-convict had assured him that he was not involved with the murder. “According to what I have seen on the newspapers and TV and what I have heard from him, he tells me he was not involved in the murder of Monica.” They revealed that he grew up in a Christian background, and they could not fathom him doing such a heinous act.  Jowie's sister wails in court The convict's sister, who had followed the proceedings in the courtroom, could not stomach the verdict that sent her brother to jail. She isolated herself to come to terms with the happenings in court. The overwhelmed woman was seen solely climbing a staircase at the Milimani Law Courts, weeping bitterly and loudly, as a jaded Jowie was being handcuffed and led to custody under tight security.
