Gen Z Employee Refuses to Attend Job Meeting Because of Gym Schedule, Boss Blasts Him

Source: Instagram The manager was furious and contacted Demoted podcast hosts Natalie Marie and Ross Pomerantz to seek their opinion on the employee’s behaviour. The podcasters aired their views on their show and uploaded a clip of their conversation to TikTok. “Your workout class is irrelevant. You just got this job. And 8 a.m. is too late for a workout. Do it at six or seven,” Marie said, agreeing with the manager.  Pomerantz said: “You can’t block your schedule for things that are your personal time. That’s a no from me. You need to make some sacrifices.” Marie added: “That’s not acceptable when you’re new to your career. I’m sorry.” However, many netizens criticised both the manager and the podcasters, saying they had no obligation to work beyond their hours.
