Evelyn Wanjiru Says She Prepared Baby's Room 5 Years Before Giving Birth: "Walking by Faith"

 

Gospel singer Evelyn Wanjru has narrated keeping her faith despite struggles to get a child with her husband, Agunda Bweni. Evelyn Wanjiru and her husband, Agunda Bweni, said they kept the faith during years of childlessness. How many years did Evelyn Wanjiru remain childless? Speaking on the Love in The Wild reality TV show, Evelyn said they never lost hope of having a kid one day. The Agundas spoke to DJ and his wife, Size 8, about the emotional trials they experienced while longing for a child. Evelyn said they challenged themselves to buy things for their unborn child.  “Every time we travelled out of the country, we'd buy clothes for our baby, whether a boy or girl. We started when around five years into marriage. We were walking by faith,” she said. Agunda disclosed that they even prepared a room for their unborn child. “It remained without a child for five years,” he said. Size 8 was impressed by their faith and wondered if the couple had given up during the long wait for a child. However, they asserted that their faith was unwavering. “We kept believing,” Evelyn said. When did Evelyn Wanjiru give birth? Evelyn's 10-year wait for a child finally ended after she delivered a newborn in 2022. She disclosed that there were many seasons when she felt like giving up, but a voice always told her to hold on and remain optimistic. Wanjiru used herself as an example to offer hope to other couples who are struggling with conception.
