Embu Teacher Dies After Heartbreak, Asks to Be Buried on Valentine's Day in Last Post

 

A young teacher's quest for romantic love has ended in tragedy following his rejection by the lady he was interested in. Embu teacher Denis Mukono wrote an emotional letter before death. Denis Mukono, a rising teacher from Meru, reportedly took his life following rejection by a lady identified in his letter.  Mukono revealed that he had endured a lot before resorting to harm himself, adding that all his efforts were in vain. "Just decided to rest in peace. I have tried all means, but all has been in vain," he wrote. Before the tragic passing, Mukono had updated his social media pages inviting people to 'his function'. He recognised in the post that one needs to have friends to talk to and share their struggles with when under depression. "Evening members, when you are stressed, you just need one friend to share with. Meanwhile I invite you to my function o. 14/2/2024. Welcome all," he said. Why did Mukono not seek help The teacher alleged that he had sought help from many people, but none gave him a listening ear during his struggles. "I may look stupid but I have shared my stress with 17 people none talked to me. I pleaded with Phides, but all has fallen on deaf ears. Love you all," he stated.
