Dressed in all black, with a neon green ribbon on her right hand, Ciru described Ouda as a visionary leader, a vessel that constantly poured into others, and a selfless man. The media personality pampered her man with love, saying that after the meeting, he redefined the meaning of love for her. "I am almost 42 years old, and I have never been loved like that. It wasn't about the grand gestures, it was the comfort, the easy intimacy, that wonderfully silly friendship between us," emotional Ciru said. The heartbroken Ciru concluded with a heartwrenching message to Ouda, and the pain in her shaken voice could be felt in the room. "Now my love, I speak to you, thank you for showing me what true love really was, thank you for being the perfect example of a gentleman and a real man. Thank you for being the kindest man I have ever known. Thank you for taking care of me. It is a privilege and honour of my life to have loved and be loved by you. Charlie, I will miss you until I join you," teary Ciru said.  The other side of Charles Ouda Ciru remembered her man as caring and loving, sharing some of the things people did not know about her. "Huh! This isn't how I envisioned Valentine's Day. We definitely weren't going to go all grand. We would probably be home either at his house or mine. He would make one of his elite sandwiches," she said. Ciru boasted about her fiance's cooking skills, and she asked: "Has anyone here had Charlie's sandwiches?" My goodness, I think he put crack in those things. Anyone who has ever tasted his sandwiches can attest to this. then he'd make me an incredibly strong cocktail to marinate me," she added.
