Boni Khalwale to Sue Kakamega Businessman Who Linked Him with Farmhand's Death

Kakamega senator Boni Khalwale has announced he will institute a legal suit against businessman Cleophas Shimanyula alias Toto. Kakamega senator Boni Khalwale recorded a statement of plaint with the police after Kakamega businessman Toto accused him of murder. Toto is on record linking the senator with the death of his farmhand, who was laid to rest on Monday, February 5. Forty-six-year-old Kizito Moi was discovered dead on Sunday, January 28, after being trampled by a bull he had been taking care of. The killer bull was speared to death in line with the Luhya traditions. Why Khalwale is seeking legal redress The foregoing tycoon led the quarters, which claimed that Khalwale only scapegoated the bull as he was supposedly behind Kizito's death. According to Toto, Khalwale was aggrieved by his farmhand's supposed philandering ways with his (Khalwale's) wife; he thus eliminated him. Following the damaging assertions, Khalwale elected to seek legal redress. He started it off by booking a statement of plaint with the law enforcers at the Malinya Police Station on Tuesday, February 6, a day after Kizito's burial. "I have today (Tuesady, February 6) commenced the process for legal responsibility by Kakamega contractor Cleophas Shimanyula, aka Toto following his wild, baseless, unfounded and false claims in respect of the death of my fighter bull caretaker, the late Kizito Moi Amukune. Formally recorded a complaint in the OB at Malinya Police Station," Khawale said.
