A blogger from Bomet county has defended Marakwet Daughter from online criticism. Isaac Lelei said Marakwet Daughter does not deserve the hate she gets online. Why did blogger defend Marakwet Daughter? The Mali Safi Chito hitmaker was on the spot after hitting out at her naysayers, with some saying fame had gotten into her head. However, speaking to TUKO.co.ke, Isaac Lelei said that some of her detractors are jealous. "I believe they are insulting her because she is making significant strides,” he said. According to Lelei, the outspoken singer only gave netizens a taste of their medicine. “She only expressed her inner feelings after being scolded by some of her followers. She is not a pastor to turn the other cheek when you slap her. Marakwet Daughter is a human being with feelings. When you insult someone, don't cry foul when they do the same thing to you,” Lelei noted. The Facebook influencer further criticised those rallying fans to unsubscribe from the artiste’s YouTube channel. He said Marakwet's Daughter made the Kalenjin community proud and deserves support. “The lady is a star. She is the first Kalenjin artist whose song hit 7 million views. Why would you want to bring her down?” he posed. How did Marakwet Daughter mourn Kelvin Kiptum? In other news, TUKO.co.ke reported that Marakwet Daughter composed a touching song titled Tweku Kipsengwet Komaloo in honour of the late marathoner Kelvin Kiptum. The emotionally charged lyrics of her new hit resonated deeply with many who are mourning Kiptum.
