African Woman Falls for Mzungu Man after Her Ex Took Her Abroad: "He Left Me"

 

An African woman has defended herself after being dragged online for sharing her love story. An African woman found love after moving with her husband abroad.  How did African woman find Mzungu? The TikTok user going by @jeanchronicles made a video saying her African ex-husband took her abroad. However, she ended up in a relationship with a Mzungu man, who has cared for her daughter from her first marriage. "My ex-husband brought me abroad so I could find my soulmate," she captioned the clip.  The criticism prompted her to do another video setting the record straight. "I have seen some of the comments from men, and they are full of misogyny and bigotry. Some say women should be left at home and not taken abroad." The woman said that her ex-husband had left her. "I cannot bash him because he is a great dad but wasn't a good husband." She said she took time to pick up the pieces after the separation before finding love again. The incident opened her eyes to the plight of African women who relocate with their partners. “People don’t talk enough about how immigrant women taken to foreign countries are abused and cheated on. "They don’t speak out for fear of being deported.” However, she noted that there were resources for abused women, and she encouraged them to report the cases to authorities and leave abusive marriages. “You can be happy too, not necessarily with a white man. I would be good if I could help one woman by encouraging you.  If not for God, I wouldn't be where I am."
