Zari Hassan’s hubby Shakib Lutaya robbed in Uganda

 

Shakib Lutaya Cham, the spouse of renowned socialite Zari Hassan, has fallen prey to a robbery that occurred on Friday, January 12, night.

Shakib revealed the unfortunate incident, stating that he lost two phones, a substantial amount of cash, and expensive chains in the theft.

“Dear friends, I was robbed hours back. My bag that contained two of my phones, a sum of cash, and expensive chains was snatched at my neighborhood supermarket,” Shakib said in an Insta story.

According to Lutaya, bystanders implicated a man known as “Benja,” purportedly a close associate of a popular Ugandan musician Pallaso.

Seeking clarification, Shakib said he reached out to Pallaso, describing him as a brother, but the response he received was disheartening.

Pallaso claimed ignorance, displaying an attitude seemingly detached from the situation and played  up his superstar status.

He expressed his determination to address the matter.

This incident comes merely a month after a similar tragedy befell Zari Hassan’s family home in Uganda.

During her visit there, the house was broken into, resulting in a brutal assault on the security guard.

Zari described the horrific incident on her Instagram, recounting how the intruders inflicted severe injuries on the guard, cutting his ear and hitting him with the butt of an AK47.

“They woke my family members up after getting in the house, asking where is this and that, but luckily my family members are okay, and I am okay,” Zari shared.

Despite the police intervention, the burglars managed to escape after looting phones, jewelry, Rolex watches, laptops, and even stealing a government gun.

Zari expressed her determination to track down the culprits.

The consecutive incidents have undoubtedly shaken Zari’s circle, with both Shakib and Zari facing the aftermath of brazen criminal activities.

The socialite remains resolute in her pursuit of justice, calling on the public for any information that could aid in recovering the stolen property and bringing the perpetrators to justice.
