William Ruto: Eldoret Boda Boda, Mama Mboga Will Pay KSh 3k to Own Govt Affordable Houses

"For the first time, low-income earners like mama mboga and boda boda operators will buy these affordable houses for KSh 3,000 per month. "Instead of paying a monthly rent of KSh3,000 or KSh 4,000, you'll pay that money, and you own the house. Who said mama mboga can't own a house?" asked Ruto. Ruto maintained his stance to go against the court's decision on the affordable housing project. He said he respects the court, but that does not guarantee them a chance to sabotage his development projects. "We respect the independence of the judiciary and other institutions but that does not extend to sabotage the public interest," he said.  How much is government affordable housing in Nakuru? This came as the government announced prices for newly completed affordable housing in Nakuru. The Ministry of Lands, Public Works, Housing, and Urban Development invited applications from interested buyers for affordable houses in Nakuru city. The ministry noted that buyers should part with a deposit of 10% and will then pay a monthly rate of KSh 16,997 and KSh 22,993 for two and three bedrooms, respectively.
