Starlet Wahu: Another Victim Narrates John Matara Allegedly Strangled Her Inside Airbnb 1 Week Ago

 

Just one day after the whole nation was shocked by the death of popular Instagram model Starlet Wahu, another woman has also claimed to be a robbery victim of her alleged killer, John Matara. Woman reports at Makadara Sub-county police According to Citizen TV, Matara, who allegedly killed Starlet in an Air bnb, is under investigation for possible serial killings both in and outside Nairobi. The police started following the trail after another victim reported an attempted murder by Matara at the Makadara Sub-county police headquarters. In her report, the victim named her assailant as John Ong'oa Matara."He was trying to strangle me so much, that is why he left the marks behind," said the victim, showing healing scratch marks on her neck. According to the victim, the two of them started engaging on a dating site and finally met physically on December 29. Matara attacked lady with an iron box "The guy seemed nice from when he picked me all the way to the Air bnb. Everything was nice until midnight when he started to beat me and ask for money. He did bad things to me; he was using a knife and Iron box to threaten me to give him my phone passwords, M-Pesa PIN and accounts," she said. "I did everything he asked for ...he had asked for KSh 50,000. Even when I sent money his name came as John Ong'oa Matara," she added. She was not the only one, as more victims emerged to share similar experiences with him. According to popular tweep Kanye West, more victims also shared painful encounters with Matara right after luring them to rooms and sleeping with them after getting their HIV status. 'Case 1: Just like in the case of Starlet, a rapid HIV test is taken perhaps to win trust with the victim. He holds victim at knifepoint either before or after sexual relations at this point, they’re basically kidnapped and forced to raise funds from friends," he said on Twitter. A lady known as Milly Richards also claimed her friend used to get a lot of money from Matara, but when they met, he robbed her.  "Immediately she undressed, Matara removed a knife and demanded KSh 50,000 from her. So this girl got lucky because at knifepoint she managed to raise KSh 50,000 and gave the money to him" claimed Richards. Pastor Kanyari's younger sister went viral after she was brutally murdered in a Nairobi AirBnB. In an interview with Nairobi News, the young influencer met up with her family for the 2023 December holidays, and Kanyari revealed they last saw each other on December 31. Kanyari also revealed that the man whose sister was captured on CCTV was yet to meet their family.
