Shabana reveal amount raised in match against Muhoroni Youth

 

FKF Premier League side Shabana FC have disclosed the funds generated during their recent home match against Muhoroni Youth at Raila Odinga Stadium in Homa Bay County on Saturday.

According to Shabana FC, a total of 1,507 tickets were sold as the FKF Premier League resumed post the Christmas break.

VIP tickets, numbering 624, were priced at Ksh 300 each, resulting in a total of Ksh 187,200.

883 regular tickets were sold at Ksh 100 each, accumulating Ksh 88,300. The overall proceeds from ticket sales amounted to Ksh 275,500.

Shabana expressed gratitude to those who attended the match at Raila Odinga Stadium in Homa Bay, with special thanks for transforming the stadium into a vibrant sea of red and white.

"A total of 1,507 tickets were sold. VIP 624, Regular 883. Asante sana for all those who made it to Raila Odinga Stadium, Homabay for our match. It was great seeing the Stadium painted red and white. Looking forward to more of that from our wonderful fans," Shabana announced.

Shabana FC loss

Despite the uplifting atmosphere, Shabana suffered another setback, losing 1-0 to Muhoroni Youth. Samwel Adebowale scored the lone goal in the 68th minute. Consequently, Muhoroni Youth moved out of the danger zone, securing the 12th position with three points from the victory.

In contrast, Shabana, with only two wins in their last 11 matches, currently stands in 16th place with 14 points.

The team has faced defeat in nine out of their opening 17 matches in the current campaign, managing only three wins and five draws.

Shabana's defensive record includes conceding 24 goals, while their offensive efforts have resulted in 15 goals.
