Pastor Victor Kanyari Says He Reversed Contributions for Sister's Burial: "Hatukutaka Mchango"

Pastor Victor Kanyari has revealed that his family never took any contributions from their extended families and friends during the planning of their late sister, Starlet Wahu's funeral. Pastor Victor Kanyari (l), his late sister Starlet Wahu (r). hy Victor Kanyari reversed M-Pesa's sent to him In a candid tell-it-all session with his congregation at Salvation Healing Ministry Church, Kanyari said as soon as his sister's death became public, he started getting calls from the media, eager to know what transpired, and so they hurriedly buried her to avoid embarrassment. "I told my mum that she was dead and never coming back and we should bury her. We didn't want people to contribute money for us, and even when they sent me money, I reversed it," said Kanyari on SHIFU TV Tiktok page.  "I didn't want people to contribute because of my sister; I funded the whole ceremony," added the emotional cleric. Wahu was buried on January 6, at the family home in Kamulu, and according to Kanyari, only 20 people attended the sombre ceremony. The family is now very concerned about their mother, Prophetess Lucy Nduta, who was badly affected by the tragedy. They, however, consoled her, urging her not to get depressed, as it would kill her very quickly. Comments from netizens: Achiengbella5: "Aki I feel so bad for him..
