KPSEA and KCSE 2024 registration to commence on January 29
Registration for the Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA) and the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) 2024 candidates will start on January 29 and continue for two months.
KPSEA, a Grade 6 test under the new education curriculum system, CBC, is designed for pupils to graduate to Junior Secondary School (JSC).
The first group of KPSEA pupils took the exams in 2023.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC), Dr David Njegere, announced the registration on Monday, January 8, 2024, during the official release of the results for KCSE 2023.

The Education Cabinet Secretary, Ezekiel Machogu, will announce the results at Moi Girls Eldoret High School in Uasin Gishu.
Mr Machogu wa accompanied by the Ministry PS, Dr Belio Kipsang, the Chief Executive Officer of the Teachers Service Commission (TSC), Nancy Macharia, and other high-ranking officials from the Ministry of Education.
The registration period for KPSEA and KCSE 2024 candidates will continue until March 29.
KCSE 2023 results announcement marks the first time the secondary school results are released in Uasin Gishu County.
Dr Njegere highlighted the significance of completing the registration process within two months.
As the registration period commences, it signals the beginning of preparations for the upcoming examinations.
The announcement serves as a reminder to students, parents, and schools to ensure that all necessary documentation and requirements are met within the registration period.
