Kiambu Man Running Away after Killing Boy at Ex-Lover's Home Falls into Pit Latrine

 

Police officers have apprehended a man suspected to have killed an 8-year-old boy living with his ex-lover in Ndenderu area. The suspect reportedly waylaid the boy outside their gate. The suspect reportedly waylaid the minor outside the gate where he lives with the lady before executing his mission. A report by Citizen Digital revealed the man also left the ex-lover injured during the horrifying ordeal.  According to police, the man successfully gained access to the house and hacked the boy to death. He then attempted to kill the house girl, who raised an alarm alerting their neighbours. How was Kiambu murder suspect caught The police said the man tried fleeing from the scene after the neighbours were alerted by the house help's screams. While running away, the man fell into a nearby pit, forcing the police to seek the help of Kiambu firefighters to remove him. The man's ex-lover, who was also in the house during the ordeal, managed to escape and recorded a statement with police. The injured lady is receiving treatment at Kiambu Level 5 Hospital while the boy's body was moved to Kihara Hospital Mortuary, awaiting a post-mortem examination.
