Kanyari's Sister Starlet Wahu's Last Message Before Gruesome Murder: "Satisfy Your Soul Not Society"
Slain Instagram socialite Starlet Wahu Mwangi was laid to rest on Saturday, January 6, at her family home in Kamulu, two days after her gruesome murder. Pastor Kanyari's sister Starlet Wahu was allegedly stabbed to death by a man identified as John Matara. How Starlet Wahu died Earlier, TUKO.co.ke reported that K24 revealed that Wahu, the daughter of self-proclaimed prophetess Lucy Nduta, had checked into an Airbnb apartment in South B, Papino, with a man identified as John Matara. However, things went sour between them, and Matara allegedly stabbed Wahu in the head and the thigh, leaving her for dead. The owner of the Airbnb, Florence Ngina, said she was alerted by the gateman, who saw Matara fleeing the scene with blood-stained clothes. She alerted police officers from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), who arrived at the scene to gather evidence. While processing the scene, detectives found a Samsung phone, a bottle of alcohol, condoms, marijuana and a kitchen knife suspected to be the murder weapon. The 26-year-old socialite lived large and shared photos flaunting her flashy lifestyle to the envy of many. From holidaying in Watamu to Duabi, Wahu gave her peers speechless nights. Wahu's last post on social media was shared on November 20, 2023. "Satisfy your soul, not society️," she wrote. On her Instagram bio, Wahu referred to herself as 'Icey Wifey', which means a female who is high-maintenance and all about her money. She also had heaven as her location in her bio. "From heaven☁️," read the bio. The lass was unbothered by critics who would criticise her for her lifestyle despite coming from a religious family. Her mother and two brothers, Kanyari and Jackson Waweru are pastors.
