Gospel singer Linet Munyali commonly known as Size 8 has recently shared the challenges she faced with money, fame, and health during the peak of her music career.
The singer also called out the fake nature of social media personalities.
In a recent interview on Citizen TV, the mother of two opened up about the drastic impact that her success had on her personal life and relationships.
Size 8 revealed that her fame came with its challenges as she later on discovered.
The gospel singer also mentioned the emotional toll she underwent after losing genuine friendships with jealousy infiltrating her circle.
She admitted to facing struggles with alcohol consumption and finding herself alone in clubs in the early morning hours.
The gospel singer acknowledges that, without a change in her lifestyle, she might have spiraled into a dangerous path of addiction or even faced a life-threatening situation.
"I was depressed and I realized that money is not everything, because when I got money and fame, I lost true love, I lost peace, and people didn't love me for me. I got stressed and I'd drink a certain brand of alcohol. That world is very lonely. Many people like me but how many loved me?"
Size 8 also divulged that her journey took a dark turn as health challenges surfaced, including migraines and high blood pressure.
She disclosed having lost two babies due to complications related to high blood pressure and that these struggles led her to seek medical attention frequently between 2015 and 2023.
"I've lost two babies from that high blood pressure,"
The reborn artist also shared the deceptive measures and practices within the social media platforms. though not all the singers emphasized.
"Social media is full of fake life. you see people bragging and posting a flashy lifestyle, but that is not real. some even just take photos of people's cars and then go on social media and caption it as 2024 winning. if you're not careful you end up doubting god, yet that is not their real life."
