Aunty Jemimah's 'son' Ng'otho battling Bell's Palsy

 

Gukena FM presenter Aunty Jemimah has asked fans to pray for her onscreen son as he battles Bells Palsy.

Ngotho had taken to his socials to explain that he was in a road accident last year.

He has been wearing a mask for weeks leaving many fans worried.

'So here is the story ..for those who are asking why I have a mask 24/7...hivi ndio kuko....so on the 6th of December I had a road accident.

I was taken to the hospital where I was meant to receive first aid...."

Ngotho explained that he ended up being given an overdose dosage which ended up affecting him.

"So while I was there... the doctor injected me with an overdose of medicine which was not proportional to the accident which led me to a comma for about 7 hours.

I was rushed to another hospital for further medication.

But in that hospital..looking at my type of injuries ...they referred me to a bigger hospital where they ordered I undergo a CT SCAN for clear results.They turned out to be positive"

Unknown to Ngotho he would only get worse.

"I was so excited to go back home After 2 weeks I started experiencing some negative effects on my right side of the head ...I went back to the hospital for further examination.. while at the hospital..I was diagnosed with 'BELLS PALSY... which is sudden weakness of the nerves and muscles of one part of the head ....That's why I have my mask all the time...kidogo nahepa kwa cinema...lakini narudi ...asanteni

 

Bell's palsy is a condition that causes sudden weakness in the muscles on one side of the face.

The condition can be permanent or temporary depending on the severity.
