Karen Nyamu’s preference ‘for married men’

Nominated Senator, Karen Nyamu, has spoken out about her relationship with the renowned Mugithi artist Samuel Muchoki, aka Samidoh.

In a series of chats on Instagram, the controversial politician openly addressed her romantic preferences, stating that although she once dated a single man, it did not appeal to her as it did a married man.

Reacting to a query she posed to her followers about something she might never have done, Nyamu was met with unexpected responses with a significant number of her followers saying she has never looked for her husband.

“You have never been with someone who is not a married man,” one of her fans wrote. “I have ever been with one but I didn’t like it,” she defended herself.

“You have never looked for your husband,” another fan suggested. “The one I have were you the one who looked for him?” she shot back.

Nyamu’s involvement with Samidoh has been an open secret with the lawmaker proving her place in the relationship.

However, Samidoh’s wife relocated to the United States in April 2023, choosing to start a new life.

This came after she had been tired of being dragged in mud severally due to her husband’s relationship with Nyamu. Months before packing her bags, Edday posted on her social media that she would not raise her children in a polygamous family.

“I have said to you and I am saying here again I will not raise my kids in a polygamy family, especially with a woman who is older than me by more than 10 years. I have asked God every day to give me strength to pray for you but today I have nothing to tell God about you, you have dragged and put me and my kids in an ocean of pain may you remember this day,” read part of her post.

In December of 2022, Nyamu and Edday almost went physical during Samidoh’s Mugiithi show in Dubai. The drama started when Nyamu went straight to where Samidoh was seated and forcefully sat on his lap with a video of her action going viral.
