Bitter Kenyans Flood Samidoh’s Comments as He Shares Message On Failure

Mugithi sensation Samuel Muchoki alias Samidoh is facing backlash for advising on greatness in the face of failure. Samidoh’s advice did not sit well with some Kenyans. Why did netizens bash Samidoh? A section of his followers rubbished Samidoh’s advice for being simplistic and a slap in the face to the agony his estranged wife, Edday Nderitu, went through. “A man is not great because he hasn’t failed. A man is great because failure hasn’t stopped him!”  The social media users accused Samidoh of not fighting for his marriage with Nderitu and instead choosing the easy way out with Senator Karen Nyamu. According to the critics, the singer advocated for resilience in the face of adversity while nonchalantly shrugging aside his relationship struggles with Nderitu. They asserted that he has not taken personal responsibility for the marriage falling apart and is thus not suited to offer advice. Muthorny2: “Says a man who couldn’t keep his young family together but ended up being a Ben ten to a woman old enough to be his mum.” Smu.thoni: “Since you are telling us you failed on the other side, can you rise up and never return?” Felin_e254: “A young man who pushed away the wife of his youth because of an older woman.” Others, however, threw their weight behind Samidoh, saying he was entitled to his opinions and outlook on life. The supporters noted that the singer was making amends and is currently in Boston, Massachusetts, where she resides with their three children. They added that the Wendo Na Urimu hitmaker’s bitter fallout with Nderitu and highly publicised romance with Senator Nyamu should not be a yardstick against his life decisions. “If only we could hold the government accountable as much we do people online,” reacted one person. Will Samidoh reconcile with Edday? Samidoh reunited with Nderitu and their three kids, Shirleen, Michael and Nimo, in Boston last week after eight months apart. Photos of the reunion captured the sweet moment the singer was received by his children at Logan International Airport upon touching down. He warmly hugged his children and posed for photos at the arrivals and baggage claim area at the airport located in east Boston. Nderitu, on the other hand, has refuted claims that they have reunited.
