NYS Announces 900 Job Opportunities for Graduates in UAE, Salaries Between KSh 69k to KSh 150k

The National Youth Service (NYS) has announced 900 job opportunities for NYS graduates to work in the UAE. A National Youths Service parade at a past event. The announcement released by NYS on January 15 provided details on how to apply, deadlines, and minimum qualifications for the job opportunities.  The employer will cater for the costs of travel as well as accommodation and food. Which positions are needed? The recruiting company is looking to fill in 12 job categories with 900 NYS graduates earning a monthly salary depending on the position. Pipe fitters to fill 100 positions earning KSh 69,329 Pipe Welders to fill 100 positions earning KSh 69,329 Plater Fabricators to fill 100 positions earning KSh 69,329 Welder FCAWs to fill 100 positions earning KSh 69,329 Welding Foremans to fill 40 positions earning KSh 130,700 Plater Foremans to fill 40 positions earning KSh 130,700 Piping Foremans to fill 20 positions earning KSh 130,700 Blaster Painters to fill 100 positions earning KSh 69,329 Foreman Mechanicals to fill 50 positions earning KSh 152,515 Foreman rudders and propellers to fill 20 positions earning KSh 163,438 Mechanical fitters to fill 150 positions earning KSh 69,329 Rudder and propeller fitters to fill 80 positions earning KSh 114,419 Who is recruiting NYS graduates Additionally, NYS noted that the National Youth Service is not recruiting for these positions, but is providing industry linkages under the Employment and linkages office. “The recruiting company will be updating us on terms of service and most importantly dates and venue for interviews which we shall consequently inform you,” added NYS in the job description document. The deadline for application is January 2024. Ruto announces NYS role in labour export Earlier on TUKO.co.ke, President William Ruto announced that the National Youth Service (NYS) will be central to the government’s labour export initiative. Ruto stated that NYS be responsible for organising youths going to work abroad by offering pre-deployment training to ensure comprehensive preparation before they leave for international job opportunities.  “The National Youth Service is going to be the central organisation for pre-deployment training, so that Kenyans understand what they need to do when they go out for work as labour that is exported from Kenya,” President Ruto said.
