Mombasa: 23-Year-Old Man Dies after Jumping from Four-Storey Hotel

A 23-year-old man has tragically lost his life after leaping from a four-storey hotel located in the Bondeni Old Town area, situated within the Mombasa Central Business District. Man jumps from fourth floor of a hotel in Mombasa under unclear circumstances.  According to Mombasa County Police Commander Stephen Matu, he sustained internal injuries in the stomach and in the head. “He suffered internal injuries on his head and stomach and succumbed to his injuries at around 1030 hrs,” Matu told NTV. Mombasa man in a towel dies In a shocking turn of events, a man, draped in a white towel, made a harrowing jump from a city hotel window to the pavement below. Amateur videos swiftly spread online, capturing the intense moment as the man descended onto parked cars, capturing the attention of onlookers. Concerned Kenyans near the scene recorded the incident, while others raced to check on the motionless victim. Despite initial efforts at Coast Provincial General Hospital to stabilise his condition, the man eventually succumbed to his injuries, prompting a police investigation into the circumstances surrounding the plunge. A subsequent search of his hotel room unveiled a trail of vandalism, including a damaged television set, curtains, and a lamp
