Risper Faith delivers heartfelt message at dad's funeral
Yesterday, Risper Faith honoured her late dad in an emotional moment at his funeral. "Am numb but it’s well …Rest easy my dear father."
She captioned alongside photos from the funeral in their rural home on Saturday, Dec 9 in Bungoma. Members of her family and friends stood beside her to support the grieving socialite.
Her late dad Alfred Wanyama Manyonge was a professor at Maseno University at the School of Mathematics Statistics and Actuarial Science.
He died on Nov 19 in Bungoma after a short illness. Risper first posted about her father's passing two weeks ago, sharing a photo of a burning candle
"DAD 💔" Risper captioned a candle photo without elaborating. A week later Nov 28, Risper broke her silence. She opened up more about her grief in an Instagram post.
She discussed the pain of losing a loved one,
"Rest Easy Daddy ❤️🩹💔 Some truths in life are hard to accept, your departure is one of those that hurts 😭😓💔 losing a father like you is hard to process, And timing is valuable when it comes to sending💔
Condolences, messages Across to us as a family and your friends and the entire fraternity. When they say "May Your Soul Rest In Peace" you feel some pain and tears flowing & growing Within."
She continued about the hardest part of saying goodbye to her dad.
"But one thing is that you will always be in our hearts and all memories still in our minds😰 may your memory be a blessing on to us Dad.
We will always miss you my hero, my mentor, and mostly a father ❤️the hardest goodbyes are the ones u don't see coming. the ones u don't plan but we have to accept because the lord was there🙏.
Continue to Shine with the angels...I find it harder to say goodbye coz u will remain in my heart forever ..😭❤️❤️"
Our thoughts and prayers go out to Rispoer and her entire family during this difficult time.
