Mike Sonko Throws Lavish Bash for His House Managers and Their Kids at Mua Hills Mansion

 

Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has earned praise for treating his househelps to a lavish party over the Christmas holiday. Mike Sonko threw a party for his house managers.  How did Sonko treat househelps? Videos and photos shared by Sonko captured the festive scene as the half a dozen househelps and their children partied at his expansive Mua Hills home in Machakos County. In one video, the househelps can be seen dancing around a fire pit inside a gold-accented lounge room at the multi-million mansion located 70km away from the capital city.  The Children were not left behind either and soaked up the festive spirit by singing carols and presenting well-choreographed dances to the second governor of Nairobi. On the tables, assorted beverages light up the room, while a stylish bar for the seasoned spirit slingers to the cocktail-curious, is all for the taking. The sprawling property that boasts panoramic views of Lukenya and Machakos Hills served as a backdrop when they all later took a photo to commemorate the event. "I threw for them a very colourful bash and also gifted them with Christmas tokens just like their male colleagues," he captioned the video. Sonko had earlier disclosed that he had prepared them a sumptuous meal having set aside three goats for slaughter. "You can have as many drinks and as much food as you want in the afternoon. Life is too short, enjoy it when you are still alive," said Sonko. To other Kenyans who did not get a chance to be at his home for the celebration, Sonko sent out holiday cheer with a festive message just in time for the New Year 2024. Inside Sonko’s Mua Hills mansion In August 2021, Sonko's daughter Sandra gave a tour of the extraordinary mansion revealing how her father spared no expense in making the property luxurious. Visitors at the home gain entry through sliding glass doors that are flanked by life-size lion statues. The door leads to a spacious lounge with beige leather couches. At the side is a spacious parking lot, while in the front yard, ostriches stride casually. According to the video, the mansion has several lounges, a gym, a gazebo, meeting rooms, and guest rooms. It also has a separate guest house within the compound.
