Lola's biological father is present  In the post, the stepfather indicated that he was cautious about the dynamics of his relationship with his step-daughter Lola due to his own experiences with step-parents.  According to The Mirror, he was confused because Lola's biological father, John, is actively involved in her life. The man described John, 42, as a good and present father who spends quality time with his daughter, even resorting to video chats when he can't see her physically. He revealed that the unexpected moment occurred when he decided to reward Lola for her stellar performance on a math test. Lola called him dad He took her to an ice cream shop to celebrate her for earning the only perfect score in her entire class. At this point, Lola, expressing gratitude, called him "dad" for the first time, leaving the stepfather in shock. . She never called me dad; she normally calls me by my name or nickname.
