Mammito: I have never met my biological father
Eunice Wanjiru Njoki, popularly known in Kenya as Mammito, is one of the women who provide comedic content in East Africa.
Her humour along with her style of words is the attraction of many.
"Living and experiencing many events in life has given me my style. That's why wherever I am I like to interact with people and the environment so that I also get new experiences every time I perform" says Mammito.

To a great extent, she says that the one who held her hand to where she is now is her mother, especially when she was growing up in one of the biggest townships in Kenya in Kibera.
"My mother always loved comedy and supported my mission," says Mammito.
She started performing in the church, starting when she was five years old. Later she started performing with various groups of artists including 'Pillars of Kibera' a group of traditional dance artists where she performed various arts.
In addition, she says that the various events of doing art while on the street inspired her because she performed and sang poems about various events at that time.
She was born in an environment where she has never met her father, and she has always been quoted as saying that she does not know how it feels to have a father.
"I was raised by my mother alone and we didn't miss anything, I didn't feel like I was missing my father because my mother made sure we had everything we needed," says Mammito.
Mammito says that her mother was a caregiver who needed her children to succeed and therefore she was strict in discipline issues and did not allow them to play with the neighbourhood children, when they were small.
Entering the comedy industry Mammito's interest in comedy lasted until college, where she performed in talent shows.
She then continued to audition in Kenya for 'The Churchill Show', trying several times but failed to get a chance to perform on the show.
She says that at that time she was afraid of the stage and also of people. Despite this, she did not give up hope that she would make it in the field of comedy and continued to experiment in that stage until she finally succeeded.
Since she got her first chance to perform on the 'Churchill Show' she has emerged as one of the best comedians in Kenya and even abroad.
In addition to her famous work as a comedian, Mammito is a businesswoman and has visited various countries for her comedy art including South Africa, Botswana, Tanzania, Eswatini, Uganda, South Sudan, Dubai, and Rwanda.
