Kisii Women Rep angers Kenyans in video quarreling bodyguard who just lost his wife

 

A video of Kisii woman rep Doris Donay Toto quarreling with her bodyguard for taking three weeks of sick leave has upset Kenyans.

In the phone call to the bodyguard, she first begins by finding out how he is doing.

"What happened? I've not seen you for three weeks at work, " She questioned

He responds as she replies

"You lost your wife? Yes, I know. And you buried her two weeks ago"  She responds

The politician adds

"You are mourning your wife? So you stayed for three weeks because you're mourning your wife? You didn't come to work? How is mourning your wife related to work? "

The bodyguard responds to her then she laughs

"Officer, you are paid for what you produce at work. You have not come to work for three weeks , you are telling me you are mourning your wife! And I know very well you are mourning your wife. I know you buried your wife two weeks ago. So you didn't come to work because you are mourning your wife? You people are....you are not very serious I don't know what's wrong with people" she blasts him.

Toto continues to vent at him adding

"I don't know. Eh, I dont know " she laughs as she listens to his explanation.

She appears irritated and pulls the phone away from her ear, then puts it down on the table.

The exasperated leader chants an unclear song in Kiswahili.

The 1:23 minute video has Kenyasn talking, saying she isn't understanding, as others recoun their own experiences with bosses while requesting sick off.
