Some decisions adversely affected him, including being involved in an accident that severely injured his spine and rendered his mobility. After the accident, despite the many surgeries he underwent, he could not walk and was stuck in a wheelchair.  Struggling with alcohol Speaking to TUKO.co.ke from his posh aboard, Othoche said one of his biggest regrets was giving a deaf ear to his beloved wife. "Neglecting and ignoring my wife is one of the most regrettable things I did when I was struggling with alcohol. I did not have time for the family. I was primarily in the house because I was drunk. When I was sober, I would stay for a few minutes in the house before going out. She used to get so irritated," the Kajiado man said.
