Stevens occasionally took leave days as she continued to recuperate, but her recovery process took longer than expected. Her boss could not tolerate it anymore, and within a week after legal authorities took up the matter, Stevens was fired. She said it was "constant, constant screaming" until she would "start to tear up at times" because she could not handle it. It reached a point where Stevens had to seek the intervention of a psychatrist as her mental health was at stake. The broken-hearted lady said she had no hard feelings against her boss as the matter was being handled by legal authorities. "I have no comment on her.
