DJ Slahver sends heartwarming birthday wishes to ex-lover Nicah The Queen

Renowned DJ and music maestro, Joseph Mwenda, popularly known as DJ Slahver, has expressed warm birthday wishes to his ex-lover, gospel singer Nicah The Queen.

Taking to Instagram, the talented musician’s manager penned a heartfelt message, extending birthday blessings and merry Christmas wishes to Niqah.

“Happy Birthday Queen. You Are Amazing and Blessed. May God Answer your Prayers. Enjoy Your day and Merry Christmas,” DJ Slahver shared on Instagram.

In November, Nicah The Queen, a mother of two, publicly announced what she described as an amicable breakup with her fiance, DJ Slahver. The couple had gotten engaged in May 2023.

In a subsequent interview following Niqah’s breakup post, DJ Slahver revealed that it was not the first time the couple had decided to part ways.

He clarified that they had experienced three previous breakups during their two-year relationship, opting to keep those instances private.

“I do not feel it was the right time to announce because, at the end of the day, we do not know what God has planned for tomorrow,” DJ Slahver explained, addressing their decision to maintain privacy during previous splits.

The DJ hinted at the circumstances leading to the final breakup, recounting an incident involving an event meeting with popular artistes that lasted until the early hours.

A disagreement arose when Nicah The Queen expressed concerns about a bill they had to settle.

“There was something that triggered. There was a time I was with Arrow Bwoy and Nadia for an event meeting, and we stayed up until around 2 am. Nicah called me, asked if I was getting home, and said she wanted to sleep. We were so happy.

“The following morning, we had a bill, and she could not sleep, so I told her, babe, it’s better to sleep, and we will wake up in the morning and figure out where we will get the money. That is what triggered it. And she said, ‘I feel like everyone should go back to their place and everyone to hustle separately’,” DJ Slahver explained.
