4 Men Shot Multiple Times in Buruburu on Christmas Had Criminal Records, Police
The police have uncovered the supposed dark past of the quartet of men felled by bullets in the Buruburu area on December 24. The four-man gang is believed to have terrorised civilians in Nairobi and Kiambu county. They had been released from prison in November, sources close to the investigation revealed. Citizen TV reports that the deceased were involved in burglary, theft, and robberies. According to the sources, the gang had run-ins with the law several times while troubling civilians in Kiambu and Nairobi counties. They would be armed with daggers and guns; a preliminary probe into their deaths suggests they had had a firearm rivalry. An autopsy conducted on two of the four bodies indicated the men died after losing too much blood. The deceased comprised a duo of cousins named Brian and Julius Mwangi. According to the autopsy, Brian sustained a total of 12 gunshot wounds, with his cousin taking in six rounds. The third body is that of Benson Mwangi, who sustained five gunshot wounds. The fourth body remained unidentified and unclaimed as of the time of publishing this.
