Jalang’o shows his father’s grave In a couple of videos shared on his Instastories, Jalang’o displayed the bushy and overgrown land where his father and grandmother are buried. He disclosed that the land used to be his grandfather’s, adding that he lived there with his family when he was younger. This used to be my grandfather’s home…he is late…and our house used to be somewhere there…and my uncles and my dad’s brothers, this used to be our home,” he said, motioning with his camera. Over time, however, he said that everyone in the homestead left and built their own houses elsewhere, leaving the land untended and desolate. “Everybody has since moved and built their home in a different location but this place remains to be a very special place to me. I’ve come to make peace with my old man,” Jalang’o added. Jalang’o’s plan to honour his father and grandmother The MP, who only recently flaunted his newly constructed opulent building, was not pleased with the state of the gravesite and promised to have it groomed. “When people move they forget everything…so I want to put up a very big event here where we’ll re-cement this grave and give my old man plus my grandmother a very good place to continue resting in peace.. it gets really emotional anytime I come here,” he said. In another post, he wrote: “You can never come to terms with death…so many years passed…people moved from this home… but this is my father’s grave.” He accompanied the post with a picture of the grave, this time slightly cleared. Jalang’o mourns Papa Shirandula director Kibwana Onguso In another story, Jalang’o mourned the death of Papa Shirandula director Kibwana Onguso. The first-term MP shared his sorrows at the demise of Kibwana, his former director on the TV show Papa Shirandula when he was still a budding actor. The politician noted that Kibwana gave him a chance at television. He wrote: “Rest well Director! Kibwana Onguso! You gave me a chance to show my talent without borders! Kibwana Onguso!
