Crazy Kennar Speaks on His Failed Restaurant Business Despite Investing Millions

The humourist made headlines on May 25, 2021, when he launched his food joint ‘Instant Delicacies’. The official unveiling of the facility was attended by the who’s who in the entertainment industry, including Flaqo, Awinja, Cartoon Actress and Alex Mathenge. . The restaurant was located at Juja Square and was frequented by Jomo Kenyatta University Of Agriculture And Technology (JKUAT) students and other customers in Juja town. “My inspiration to start the restaurant was to open job opportunities for my fellow young people to enable positive growth in society. I believe in people growing together and supporting one another,” Kennar said during the launch. On January 20, the restaurant announced its withdrawal from its operations in Juja. Kennar explained that he may taken the wrong investment option. “My mistake was getting money from content creation and investing it in a restaurant business. It was a good idea. However, starting such a business requires you to be fully present.”  The comedian hinted that mismanagement of the facility led to its closure even though it made profits. In an interview with Phil Karanja, he said juggling between shooting content and managing the business was difficult. “Many entrepreneurs make the mistake of diversifying too early with the hope of better success.
