Media star and digital content creator, Anita Nderu, is dispelling speculation that she and her spouse, Barrett Raftery, are expecting their second child.
Anita, who is now attending the “Hey Festival” in South Africa thanks to Netflix South Africa, used her Instagram stories to correct misconceptions among her 504+k followers.
This is after multiple, “why do you look like you are 2 in,” comments on posts she had shared on her feed.
In response to the rumours, the mother of one stated that there was no bun in the ‘oven’ at the time and that it was only a food bump.
“Guys I am not pregnant, I promise,” started the former TV host.
Anita chose a different course of action than other celebrities in the media, who become extremely irritated when followers begin such rumours.
She continued by expressing her gratitude to her fans and supporters for their many blessings in her life and mentioning that although having a second child would be amazing, the time was not perfect.
The host of the “Overdressed Cook” show reassured online viewers that she had simply been overindulging in food and living her best life.
“Not like it is a bad thing but I am not pregnant, thank you all for speaking blessings upon me and my family but this is all just food.
We have a Spurs downstairs and I have been having ribs non-stop. And we are also being fed well,” said Anita as she let out a chuckle.
Though it wouldn’t be shocking if she was expecting, she did mention a month ago that she hopes their second kid is conceived around her husband’s 40th birthday when wishing Barret a happy birthday.
The couple also welcomed Kaya, a healthy baby girl, into the world in August 2022.
