Uhuru Kenyatta Arrives in Mwingi Aboard Chopper for Fundraising Event

 

This comes as the former head of state first political outing after being away from the limelight for months, and he was received by Kalonzo and other local and Azimio leaders. In a video shared, Uhuru arrived at the Full Gospel Church in Mwingi on a helicopter in the Ukambani town.The event saw the presence of notable figures like Machakos Governor Wavinya Ndeti, former Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa, and former governor Wycliffe Oparanya.  Mwingi locals could not hold their excitement following the politician's arrival at the church premises, where he is attending a church fundraiser. Uhuru also took time to plant a tree at the Full Gospel Church compound. "Currently attending a worship service at Full Gospel Churches of Kenya, Mwingi Township, in the company of Immediate former head of state H.E Hon.Uhuru Kenyatta, Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka, Our Governor H.E Hon Wavinya Ndeti, Several MPs, MCAs and other leaders ahead of fundraising to complete the church's ultramodern house of worship," Machakos deputy governor Francis Mwangangi said.
