Octopizzo Donates KSh 30k to Siaya Women, Causes Jubilation

 

The celebrated musician was captured in a video speaking in the Luo language before giving his donation. Octopizzo, who is known for his hit songs such as Noma Ni and TBT, visited the women who are part of a self-help group. Octopizzo praised the women for their hard work and resilience. He said that he was impressed by their initiative and spirit of unity. He also revealed that he had used their tent and chairs before. Octopizo's warm gesture to women Octopizzo then generously gave the women KSh 30,000 to help them in their affairs. The singer said that he wanted them to add more things that can help the community. He also encouraged them to continue supporting each other and empowering themselves. "The little I have that I will support you with… because I have also used your tent and chairs before, and we want you to add more things that can help the community… What I want to offer you KSh 30,000," Octopizzo announced. The singer’s kind donation triggered dance and jubilation from the women. Some of them were seen rolling on the ground as an expression of gratitude to the singer for his warm gesture. The rapper shared a video on his Twitter page, pleading with President William Ruto to lower the kerosene prices for people. "People are complaining because of kerosene hike and no MP has talked about it. This is a shoutout to the president, we are suffering. In Kibera people are still using kerosene to cook and light up their houses. You can hike the pertol and diesel prices but not kerosene. You said you'll change hustlers' lives then do something about it. Lower the kerosene prices."
