Rapper Sylvia Saru aka Ssaru wa Mambaru performed to an excited crowd at the TRM on Saturday, Nov 11, where she surprised fans with her energy and vibes.
Her single Summer Bunny is gathering serious airplay showcasing her popularity. Ahead of the TRM performance, the rapper was interviewed by several bloggers on issues to do with the music industry, her career, and personal details.
In a video heard on Plug TV, the Kaskie Vibaya singer acknowledged her rise in her career, including encountering criticism about some songs addressed by sections of Kenyans.
“At the end of the day, the goal was to achieve this goal. Mafans wanatukalia ngumu bana,” she said about support.
The female artiste also spoke about her dowry expectations.
“Let me tell you I want to tell my current bae, but of course, I don’t want to get married right now. I want to wait a couple of years. But every year the amount increases, it’s like a billion shillings like this.”
The Kayole-born resident compared the worth to that of Khaligraph Jones’ home which he claimed to have spent a billion
“If you can spend that much on a house. Sasa kulipia msee ka mimi billioni pia ni tatizo,” Ssaru argued.
The singer will be worth it as she claimed, “I bring the table, Let me just tell you, I am not just a table, I am a full dining set in fact I am the food that you are going to dine on in that dining set,” she hilariously laughed at her statement of intent.
