Watch: Late Shan Wanita's mother holds another burial ceremony weeks after first on

 

The mother of the late Instagram influencer Shan Wanita held a burial ceremony for her late daughter on Friday, Oct 20.

A beautiful portrait of Shan to celebrate her life was positioned on the side with a sign of a white dove signified to fly with the angels.

In a video shared by her friends, we see snippets of the brief ceremony where family and friends gathered at her mother's home. laid wreaths and single red roses for their late beloved daughter.

Shan was buried on September 29, 2023, at Riverside Estate, Kamulu, according to a public obituary.

A woman who had claimed to be her mother back in September appeared at the funeral home to claim the body was stolen ahead of the burial.

"My daughter was supposed to be buried tomorrow. I am here at Umash Funeral Home. I am not leaving here before I am given my daughter's body,” she said.

Wanita’s mum said the funeral home called her at 3:30 p.m., but they said she could not view the body without papers.

“I have never seen her body since she died, neither have her siblings.” Wanita’s mother said while confessing this could be because of a family feud since her husband's death.

Also Shan's best friend Muffin Mungai also spoke about the horrific accident that claimed her best friend's life. 

Mungai was dating Kevin, who was driving the ill-fated vehicle. Muffin said Kevin had announced an impromptu road trip to Mombasa. She called Shan and invited her to tag along.

Muffin explained this on YouTuber Vincent Mboya's page.

"Kevin just woke up and said twende Mombasa. He was not okay, akasema for the weekend, twendeni Mombasa. So I called my best friend Shan, nikamwambia akuje twende Mombasa. We were driving at night, so around 10pm, the car lost control. We started overturning and in the process, I was thrown outside the window. When I woke up I found Kevin and Shan lying next to each other and she was bleeding in the head," she said.    BY MPASHO NEWS
