One motor was also detained during the raid.

The move comes even as the State has put in place measures to combat illicit brews and narcotic drugs which pose serious threat to lives of Kenyans.

Leading from the front, Second Lady Dorcas Rigathi has warned people she calls drug barons that she will not relent in her support for Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua’s fight against alcoholism, drugs and substance abuse.

“The drug barons and those who sell alcohol are not happy and are fighting, but you cannot fight this family. I am standing on the altar and you will not succeed because we are doing God’s work,” she said.

She maintained that together with DP Gachagua they will not relent in their quest to rescue young men in the country who have gotten lost in alcoholism and are no longer productive.

“We are going to save our country and the boy-child. The beer, marijuana and those spirits, we are going to turn them into the spirit of God,” said the Second Lady.

According to Ms Rigathi, the so-called barons and cartels have been fighting her husband and sons for being outspoken about the subject.

“My sons are changing and when you see him being fought [it is because] he is talking about coffee, tea, milk and all those barons and cartels. They have a lot of money and want to make him look like he is not the right person but he must do the work of God,” she said.

“Even when they fight him during the day, I pray for him and encourage him in the evening.”    BY KBC NEWS
