Shaggy thrills Kenyans with Kiswahili titled song 'Funga Macho'

 

Days after being declared the Best Artist at the just concluded Trace Awards, Rwandese singer Bruce Melodie and dancehall musician Shaggy have a collaboration that resonates very well with Kenyans.

"Celebrating a victory that resonates far beyond myself. This award is a tribute to the vibrant spirit of Rwandan and African music. Special thanks to Trace Awards, the Government of Rwanda, and everyone who played a part in this incredible journey," he shared his delight.

Meanwhile, the handsome singer is set for a major song release with Dancehall artiste Shaggy.

The song dubbed Funga Macho will premiere on Friday, October 27, and Kenyans are captivated.

On Shaggy's Tiktok account, Kenyans have flooded the comment section thanking the reggae singer for doing a Kiswahili-titled song.

Teasing the song while in the studio, Shaggy announced

"When She’s Around (Funga Macho) with @brucemelodie coming out this Friday, Oct 27th. You ready for this one?"
