Safaricom shops in Nairobi to be closed on Friday

Safaricom shops in Nairobi will be temporarily closed on Friday, October 6, 2023, the telecommunications company has announced.

In a notice to all customers, the telco said all shops in the city excluding the outlet at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), will remain closed tomorrow to allow the attendants participate in an internal staff event.

Normal operations will resume on Saturday, October 7.

"We appreciate your understanding and look forward to serving you with renewed energy and enthusiasm on Saturday," Safaricom said.

Some of the Safaricom Customer Care shops are located at Safaricom House in Westlands, Moi Avenue, I&M Building, Kimathi Street, Thika Road Mall (TRM), Westgate, Sarit Centre, Kangemi and Junction Mall among other areas.

The shops offer all Safaricom network-related services including registration of SIM cards, M-Pesa statements, unblocking of SIM cards, Safaricom accessories, promotions, Bonga Points and airtime and internet issues.

Other services include M-Pesa transactions issues, Pre-pay and Post-pay services among others.   BY K24 NEWS
