Sabina Chege Reunites with Former Tausi Castmates, Share Delightful Photos: "Down Memory Lane"
The meeting brought together legendary actors who shared cherished memories. According to Peris Wambui, they decided to meet in remembrance of Kibwana Onguso, the producer of Kisulisuli, who had passed away and was laid to rest the previous month. "We came together in honour of the Kisulisuli producer, Kibwana Onguso. He passed away recently and was buried last month. The meeting was a good one and we had fun," Peris told TUKO.co.ke. What caused Kibwana Kibwana's death? On Sunday, September 10, TUKO.co.ke reported that the producer had passed away aged 59. According to the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC), Kibwana's son discovered him lying unconscious in his Lucky Summer home. Efforts to save his life were futile as doctors pronounced him dead at around 11am, bringing to an end an era that will forever remain embedded in history. Produced Tausi, Tahamaki Kibwana made a name for himself in the 90s as the man behind popular TV shows like Tausi, Tahamaki, Kisulisuli, and Nyundo Utosini. He soon moved to Royal Media Services' Citizen TV in the early 2000s and produced Papa Shirandula and Inspekta Mwala. After Citizen TV, Kibwana worked with K24 and Maisha Magic before going into independent content production.
