Pastor Nganga upset at man offering sh500 'tithe' for blessings

Kenyans are sharply divided over a video of Pastor James Nganga blasting an unnamed individual for offering him sh500 to pray for him.

Nganga was unhappy at that pitiful amount saying it doesn't match the follower's prayer demands.

"Another person yesterday gave me 500 bobs, I pray for his children and also his extended family. Mia tano? How do you expect them to do this with just 500?"

He loudly wonders

"Honestly how do you expect me to perform a miracle with 500. Nitawakumbuka namna gani sasa? Mia tano? Hakuna mafua ya gari ya mia tano. Io ni ibada gani? watu wa pikipiki. Io ni ibada gani sasa? Infact that five hundred fanya na waganga wa Nairobi"

Refers to Kenyan pastors who ask their followers to pay a certain amount to plant a seed that will see their prayers answered.

Pastor Kanyari went viral years back for asking his followers to part with sh310 'kupanda mbegu'.

Nganga continues to blast that individual

"Those one of toa mbegu sijui tatu sijui ngapi" he lamented.

Self-proclaimed Pastor Victor Kanyari now goes by the name Bishop Prophet Mwangi.

This turnaround was a result of being exposed for convincing his followers to pay sh310 for him to perform miracles.

He was exposed back in 2014 by journalist John Allan Namu and KTN’s Jicho Pevu reporter Mohammed Ali.

He was said to have changed contacts to avoid being caught, used different identification cards, and deceived unknowing faithful all in the name of healing them while secretly being paid to do 'miracles'.

Even his ex-wife Betty Bayo exposed him for a con after a tumultuous period in their marriage. The two are now divorced and she has moved on.    BY MPASHO NEWS
