Larry Madowo upset after being served' Pan-fried' ugali on the plane

 

Media personality Larry Madowo has lamented about being served 'ugali mwitu' on a plane.

Ugali is a staple food among the Luo and the Luhya.

Through his socials Madowo sarcastically shared

"Emirates has pan-fried ugali on Nairobi flights.

Do you want to know how this abomination “ugali mwitu” tasted?

Madowo now says it can only be referred to as Ugali if it has been cooked with a mwiko

"It’s not ugali if it’s not made with a mwiko, so what do we call this?'

Kenyans did not disappoint with many pointing out they could not see the ugali in the first place.
