Kiambu: Boda Riders Escape Death Narrowly as Matatu Loses Control after Collision with Pick-UP

 

A viral Closed Circuit Television footage shared on social media has shown the chilling moment when traders and boda riders narrowly escaped death after an overspeeding matatu went for them after losing control. The matatu went off the road after a collision. The video circulating widely showed the moment that the public service vehicle collided with a pick-up ferrying timber, causing a chaotic scene that almost caused the loss of lives. In the chilling CCTV footage, the collision between the two vehicles caused the matatu to lose control, diverting off the road and going for the boda riders who had parked their motorcycles and were waiting for customers.Anger Kenyans: "Too Late" They quickly ran for their dear lives after they saw the matatu headed for them, and luckily, most managed to escape the grim reaper.  Their boda bodas were, however, not as lucky as some were damaged in the accident. One man was also captured falling into a ditch, but he was later seen trying to climb out of it. Responders quickly rushed to help those injured in the matatu and were able to evacuate some of them from the wreckage of the matatu
