Inside Zimmerman, Githurai penthouses It all started with a two-storey penthouse in Zimmerman owned by Annie Lumbasi, a Kenyan based in the US. Annie disclosed that she wanted a house and rental units but only had one plot and decided to utilise it fully. The penthouse includes four bedrooms, an open-plan kitchen, a laundry room, and a pantry. It also boasts a panoramic view of famous neighbourhoods such as Githurai, Roysambu and Kahawa West. The inside of the house is opulent and features a massive TV with gypsum affair ceilings. Annie further dismissed concerns about the building’s stability, noting it was safe. On Monday, October 9, another photo showing a penthouse surfaced online. Unconfirmed reports indicate that the building is located along Kimbo Road in Githurai. The Githurai penthouse is perched atop a four-storey building. Why was Embu penthouse praised? An image of a similar building in Embu surfaced online, earning praise from Kenyans. Unlike the other penthouses built on apartments, the one in Embu is atop a commercial building. The entire building is painted white, while the penthouse features a maroon roof. "Gorgeous" A Facebook user who shared the photo disclosed that a famous businessman in the area owns the building. "The ground floor has shops, the first floor is Club Boma and other business units," they wrote. Netizens reacted by saying: Jace Mueni: “This is nice.” Emily Candice Omuga: “This is good because it has blended well with the building. Not easy to know it's a separate entity, unlike the others.” Cajeni Cajeni: “The Embu one is neat and uniform with the rest of the structure.” Okafield Mokua: “This one is blended in perfectly and looks pretty good.” BY TUKO NEWS
