Jaguar speaks after his company iPhone Street Kenya faced backlash

Former Starehe MP Charles Njagua, better known as Jaguar, has promised to hire a new customer service team after his company, iPhone Street Kenya, was accused of selling refurbished iPhones disguised as new devices.

The company, which is located along Kenyatta Road, Nairobi, also allegedly employed influencers and celebrities to target unsuspecting consumers.

In a statement, Jaguar took full responsibility for the issue and acknowledged that its team will fix the issue.

"As the director of iPhone Street Kenya, it is unfortunate that some of our customers have experienced dissatisfaction. I have taken personal action and take full responsibility for what happened," he assured.

"I am committed to putting in place a new customer service team with clear product information and dispute resolution to mitigate any issues moving forward."

The company also issued a statement on the issue and promised to establish a special telephone line to quickly respond to customer complaints and concerns.

We communicate directly with you, our valued customers, to better understand how we can ensure your satisfaction.

Your needs have always been our top priority and we are wholeheartedly committed to finding more solutions that match your expectations," the statement read in part.

"As the company grows, it can only be measured by the ability to accept criticism, positive and negative. We have contacted the affected customers to find the best solution that guarantees their satisfaction," Jaguar added.

The company also addressed concerns about remote locking software installed on iPhones to prevent paying users from using the device.

They said that the program aims to protect the customer and the business.   BY CLASSIC 105
