During the morning conversation at Classic 105, Kenya's most loved radio presenters had a controversial conversation on child support payment.

The question of the day was' Should a man pay child support when the lady is financially stable?'

The morning conversation was inspired by environment CS Soipan Tunya who is demanding 3 million shillings every year for child support from her ex-husband.

Maina being the loyal women supporter agreed with what the CS said and added that the women were willing to get the woman pregnant, so taking care of the product shouldn't be a problem for him.

Maina Kageni: Who told you because a woman makes more than you, she should still cover for your responsibilities? Even if she earns 200k per month you have to pay for upkeep.

Mwalimu King'ang'i on the other hand had a different opinion and wasn't afraid to show it. He was of the idea that the woman should just support the children since she is capable of doing it.

Mwalimu King'ang'i: At what point do you feel sorry for your partner? Because surely if you're earning more than him msaidie.

The back and forth of the radio presenters set the perfect mood for a debate.

Maina and King'ang'i requested the callers to help them understand the issue clearly and this is what some of them had to say;

"Maina yeye ndio alikuwa tukian za maisha sai vile tumeachana hafai kuwalk away. He needs to step up and be a man he should pay the child support."

Another added;

"Who determines when a woman will be born? If the woman doesn't want to get pregnant she will not get pregnant kama akona chance ya kuamaua time anataka mtoto then snafaa abebe msalaba wake. Huyo msichana asiitishe child support yeye anajiweza abebe msalaba wake aachane na huyo mwanaume."
